Bonsai Workshop

Discover the timeless art of BONSAI in a fun, welcoming, beginner-friendly workshop where you will shape your own tiny tree to take home. Along the way, you'll learn about the history and philosophy of bonsai while exploring the design principles preserved by bonsai artists for centuries.

Using a carefully selected young tree, you'll learn the fundamentals of bonsai, including pruning, wiring, shaping, and basic care. As you work, you'll discover how bonsai artists think about balance, movement, and proportion to create trees that feel both natural and expressive. Every participant begins with a different tree, so every beginner bonsai artist creates a living sculpture with its own unique character.

No experience is necessary. We'll guide you through each step, answer your questions, and help you create a bonsai you will be proud to care for years to come.  We guarantee our plants, and each participant receives access to our Tiny Tree Care Portal, where you can ask questions and recieive ongoing support for your bonsai.

Our BONSAI EXPERIENCE is perfect for birthdays, creative team-building events, private parties, and community gatherings throughout Southern California. We host at our studio, or bring everything needed for the workshop to you!
